Katherine and Chrisanne are cousins, both great nieces of Adolphe Robicheau.  Katherine's mother, Alma Kathleen, and Chrisanne's father, Joe, are siblings. Their grandfather, Antoine, was Adolphe's brother.  They both grew up hearing stories of their parents' mischief-making summers in Meteghan.
